Ahilyabai Holkar's Rule
Ahilyabai Holkar ruled Malwa from 1767-1795. Her capital was Maheshwar. She promoted temple reconstruction, trade, justice, and administration reforms, strengthening the Holkar dynasty's rule in central India. Malwa prospered under her able governance.
Lonar Crater Lake Facts
Lonar Crater Lake is situated in Maharashtra's Buldhana district. It is the second largest impact crater in basaltic rock globally. It was formed approximately 60,000 years ago due to a meteorite impact.
Kingdom of Chanda's Early History
The Kingdom of Chanda was situated in present-day Chandrapur. Bhim Ballal Singh established the kingdom around 870 AD. Sirpur, its capital, was located on the banks of the Wardha River. Kol Bhill is renowned among the Gonds for his bravery and military prowess.
