With the CBSE Class 10th and 12th results 2025 expected soon, high traffic could cause website crashes. To tackle this, students can check their results through alternative platforms like DigiLocker, the UMANG app, and SMS services. These methods ensure secure access to results even if official websites are unavailable.

Alternative Ways to Access CBSE Results

If the official websites—cbse.gov.in, cbseresults.nic.in, and results.cbse.nic.in—become slow or inaccessible, students can turn to the following alternatives:

  1. DigiLocker app or website: CBSE has partnered with the Ministry of Electronics and IT to make digital marksheets available through DigiLocker. All students are issued a 6-digit PIN by their schools to activate their DigiLocker accounts.
    • Visit digilocker.gov.in or open the DigiLocker app.
    • Log in using your registered mobile number or Aadhaar.
    • Navigate to the CBSE section and select the relevant class result (10th or 12th).
    • Enter your roll number and security PIN to view or download your marksheet. The marksheets available on DigiLocker are digitally signed and legally valid for college admissions and job applications.

  1. UMANG app: The UMANG (Unified Mobile Application for New-age Governance) app also provides access to CBSE results. This government-backed platform offers a seamless experience for students.
    • Open the UMANG app and go to the education services section.
    • Select CBSE and choose your class.
    • Enter the required credentials such as roll number and school number.
    • View and download your result.
  1. SMS service for quick access: Students can also receive quick updates about their results via SMS.
    • Send an SMS with your roll number to the designated number (e.g., 7738299899 for Class 10th and 7738299890 for Class 12th).
    • You will receive a response with your result details.

Importance for Students

These alternative platforms ensure that students can access their results smoothly, even if the official websites experience downtime. Students are encouraged to use these platforms for secure and reliable access to their results.
