CBSE says Class 12th Math question paper genuine despite QR code prank

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has confirmed that the Class 12 Mathematics board examination question paper is genuine, addressing concerns raised after a QR code prank appeared on the paper.

According to CBSE officials, the QR code printed on the question paper is a security feature designed to verify the authenticity of the document. The board stated that the examination system remains secure and that there has been no breach of the question paper process.

During the exam, some students noticed that scanning the QR code directed users to a YouTube music video. This created confusion among students and led to speculation about the authenticity of the paper.

However, CBSE sources clarified that the QR code is part of the board’s security system used to track and authenticate question papers. The board reassured students and parents that the examination process remains safe and reliable.

Officials also advised students not to rely on rumors circulating online and to follow official updates released by the board regarding exam-related matters.
