The SBI PO Mains Examination 2021-2022 was conducted on 2nd January 2022, and AffairsCloud has provided the complete set of General Awareness questions asked in the exam.
The SBI PO Mains Examination 2021-2022 was conducted across the country on 2nd January 2022. The examination consisted of 40 questions, with 28 questions from Current Affairs, 2 questions from Current Static Banking & Finance, 4 questions from Current Static GK, and 6 questions from Static GK.
The questions covered a wide range of topics, including the 70th edition of the Miss Universe competition, where India's Harnaaz Sandhu was crowned as 2021's Miss Universe. Other questions covered the partnership between Airtel and Invest India to launch the 'Startup Innovation Challenge', the increase in the Immediate Payment Service (IMPS) transaction limit, and the awarding of the 2021 Booker Prize to Damon Galgut for his novel 'The Promise'.
The examination also covered questions on the Wholesale Price Index (WPI), which reached 14.23% in November 2021, the highest level in the last 12 years. Additionally, questions were asked about the RBI Banking Ombudsman Office for Centralised Receipt and Processing Centre (CRPC) located in Chandigarh, the number of Public Sector Bank branches in India (as of Jan'22), and the head of the Resolution Framework – 2.0: Resolution of Covid-19 related stress of Individuals and Small Businesses.
The questions also covered the Greek letters assigned to COVID-19 variants, with the Greek Numeric Value assigned for the 'Omicron' variant being 15th. Other questions covered the MSME Public Procurement Policy Monitoring Portal, the merger of Vijaya Bank with Bank of Baroda in 2019, and the extension of the PLI scheme to promote MMF.
The total stake held by State Bank of India (SBI) in Jio Payment Bank was 30%, and the statement-based question covered the 7 PM MITRA parks. Finally, the examination covered the estimated GDP of India for Q2 FY22, which was 8.4% according to the National Statistical Office (NSO).
The questions in the examination were of moderate level, with most of them being from the last 6 months. The total number of questions covered in the APP Quiz was 201.
