The ICSE and ISC 2026 board examinations scheduled in the UAE have been cancelled. The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) will declare Class 10 and Class 12 results using an alternative assessment method.
The ICSE and ISC 2026 board examinations scheduled to be conducted in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) have been cancelled. The decision was taken by the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) due to extraordinary circumstances affecting the examination schedule.
As a result of the cancellation, the council has announced that the results for Class 10 (ICSE) and Class 12 (ISC) students in the UAE will be prepared through an alternative assessment method.
According to CISCE, the alternative assessment will be based on internal evaluations, project work, practical assessments and other academic records of the students. This method will help ensure that students receive fair results despite the cancellation of the examinations.
Schools in the UAE will coordinate with the council to submit the required academic data and performance records of students. Based on this information, CISCE will calculate and declare the final results.
Students and parents have been advised not to panic and to stay updated through official notifications issued by the council and their respective schools.
The council stated that the decision was taken keeping the safety and academic future of students in mind, ensuring that their education progress is not affected.
