JEE Main 2026 Session 2: City Intimation Slip Soon

The National Testing Agency (NTA) closed registration window for JEE Main 2026 Session 2 examination on March 13. After the completion of the application process, the agency is expected to release the city intimation slip soon on the official website, jeemain.nta.nic.in.

Exam Details

• The JEE Main 2026 Session 2 exam is scheduled to be conducted from April 2 to April 9.
• The test will be held in two shifts each day.

Marking Scheme and Prep Tips

• Students preparing for JEE Main 2026 Session 2 and aiming for admission to BTech, BArch, and BPlanning programmes can access previous years' question papers along with solutions in PDF format through the NTA's official portal at nta.ac.in.
• Candidates can also access important formulas and study materials to help them prepare for the exam.

Downloading the City Intimation Slip

• To download the city intimation slip, candidates need to visit the official website and follow the below steps:

  1. Visit the official website: Go to jeemain.nta.nic.in or jeemain.nta.ac.in.
  2. Find the relevant link: Click on “Advance City Intimation for JEE (Main) 2026” available under the candidate activity section on the homepage.
  3. Log in to your account: Enter your Application Number along with your Date of Birth or Password used during registration.
  4. Enter the security code: Fill in the Captcha/Security Pin displayed on the screen and click on Submit.
  5. Check exam city details: Once logged in, your allotted exam city and exam date will be shown on the dashboard.
  6. Download the slip: Save the city intimation slip as a PDF and take a printout for future reference and travel planning.

Important Things to Note

• The city intimation slip only informs candidates about the exam city and date in advance to help them plan their travel. It cannot be used for entry into the examination hall.
• The official admit card, which contains details such as the exact exam centre address and shift timing, is usually issued by the National Testing Agency (NTA) about 2–3 days before the exam.
