RRB Assistant Loco Pilot Application

The Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs) under the Ministry of Railways have issued the indicative notification for Centralised Employment Notification (CEN) 01/2026 for recruitment of Assistant Loco Pilot posts. The notice informs prospective candidates about the forthcoming recruitment process and advises them to prepare documents before the detailed notification is released on official RRB websites.
Eligible candidates will be able to submit applications through online mode once the application window opens. According to the indicative notice, applications will be accepted only through the official portal https://www.rrbapply.gov.in.
The application process is scheduled to open on May 15, 2026, and close on June 14, 2026, at 23:59 hours. The recruitment drive covers Assistant Loco Pilot posts placed in Pay Level 2 with an initial pay of Rs 19,900 under the Seventh Central Pay Commission.

- The notice states that AADHAR-based verification will help avoid inconvenience and delays during detailed scrutiny at different stages of the recruitment process, particularly for applications that are not AADHAR verified.
- Applicants are also instructed to ensure that their name and date of birth in AADHAR exactly match the details recorded in the Class 10 pass certificate.
- Candidates are further advised to update their latest photograph and signature on the AADHAR card before filling the online application form.
