Schools, Colleges, Universities in Jammu and Kashmir Resume After a Week of Closure

Schools, colleges, and universities across Jammu and Kashmir reopened on Monday after remaining closed for nearly a week. The closure was implemented as a precautionary measure following protests in several areas.

With the situation gradually stabilizing, local authorities allowed educational institutions to resume normal academic activities. Students returned to classrooms, and regular teaching schedules resumed in many schools and colleges across the region.

Officials stated that necessary security arrangements have been made to ensure that students and staff can attend institutions safely. Educational authorities have also advised institutions to maintain regular communication with local administration in case of any further developments.

Meanwhile, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has postponed certain Class 12 board examinations scheduled in the Middle East region, according to recent updates from the board.
