Student-led career fair highlights emerging opportunities and informed choices

DAV Public School, Sector 14, Gurugram organized a student-led career fair, Inceptum – A Career Fair with a Difference, a student-driven initiative aimed at helping learners explore career pathways through research, peer interaction, and informed discussion. True to its theme, the fair was entirely conceptualized, researched, curated, and presented by students. The event featured stalls on popular and emerging career options, reputed colleges and universities, as well as national-level competitive examinations. Each stall offered structured information on eligibility criteria, course duration, admission processes, career prospects, and campus life. Students confidently interacted with parents and peers, addressing queries and offering guidance, turning the fair into an engaging and interactive learning platform. The initiative provided students with hands-on exposure to planning, teamwork, communication, leadership, and critical thinking. The event reflected the leadership vision of Principal Aparna Erry, whose encouragement enabled students to take ownership of their learning and career exploration.
