Students from 67 CBSE schools present ideas on sustainability, tech and health
Students from 67 CBSE schools presented innovative ideas on sustainability, technology, and health at the CBSE Regional Science Exhibition 2025.
The CBSE Regional Science Exhibition 2025 was recently held at Uttam School for Girls, bringing together student innovators from schools across the Noida region. The exhibition showcased 107 projects from 67 CBSE-affiliated schools under various themes, including Sustainable Agriculture, Green Energy, Emerging Technologies, and Health and Hygiene. The projects were displayed across two categories - Classes VI to VIII and Classes IX to XI. A panel of subject experts assessed the projects, and awards were presented based on innovation, scientific understanding, and practical application. The event provided a platform for young learners to demonstrate creativity, collaborate with peers, and deepen their interest in science and technology.
The exhibition was inaugurated by Vijay Shanker Sharma, Director, National Science Centre (NSC), New Delhi, who encouraged students to view science as a tool for addressing real-world challenges and driving sustainable development. More than 300 students from visiting CBSE schools attended the exhibition, engaging with participants and gaining exposure to experiential learning. Teachers from participating and host schools also took part in professional development sessions, including an IBM SkillBuild workshop on digital skills in education and a hands-on session titled ‘STEM Explorers: Discover, Experiment, Innovate with Fun’, conducted by the National Science Centre.
